Earlier this year my brilliant cousin Della died of ALS--a fatal neurodegenerative disease with no known cure. From the moment she was diagnosed in spring 2023, Della and her family have devoted much of their time and energy toward raising awareness and money for ALS research. Even when she knew that the research was not likely to save her own life, Della never lost hope that her efforts can and will help others. I'm honoring Della's memory and her incredible spirit by riding in the tri-state trek--a 60-mile bike ride through Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. I'll be working to end ALS by raising funds for the critical research that's happening at ALS TDI. Riding this distance will be a first for me, but I am excited by the challenge and by the opportunity to keep Della's hope alive. Please support my efforts.
