This will be my 3rd year participating in the Tri-State Trek to find a cure for ALS.  On April 20th, 2023, my family's whole world changed.  My aunt, Della Larsen, was diagnosed with ALS.  I had worked with patients with ALS as a physical therapist and when I got that call, I knew it was a death sentence.  Despite her diagnosis, Della took to social media spreading ALS awareness and raising funds for a cure that she would never receive. Through all of her battles and progressions, she chose to still find joy in everyday.  We recently lost Della to her battle with ALS on January 1st, 2025.  I am riding to continue her fight for a cure so that when other loved ones get that phone call it will no longer be a death sentence.  Thank you so much to all that can donate no matter how big or small.  Every contribution is one step closer to ending ALS!
