Twenty-Two years ago, we received the news that my uncle was diagnosed with ALS. This summer will be my 21st year riding in his memory. (That will  be over 4,000 miles!!!).

This has always been the most incredible ride I've ever done--it is physically the hardest, but it is also the most camaraderie forming, optimistic, and full of hope and support.

I choose ALS-TDI because they are working towards finding an effective treatment for ALS and hope that someday soon, I will not have to make this trek when they are finally successful in finding a cure!
