Hi! My name is Lauren, and my mom, Jen, was diagnosed with ALS a year and a half ago. She is a 46-year-old retired Registered Nurse and small business owner of a yarn shop before her diagnosis. In our spare time, we like to knit, go for walks (or rollsπ¦½) with our dogs, take road trips, and go on coffee dates. This June we will be going to Boston for the Tri-State Trek event to connect with other families who have a loved one with ALS.
I love my mom to the moon and back π. That is why I’m riding my very first 30-mile bike ride in the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) Tri-State Trek event to raise money for ALS research. ALS TDI is a nonprofit biotech lab funded by donations with the goal to discover and invent effective treatment for ALS. I never want another family to experience the heart break of watching a loved one suffer from ALS, so please help me by fundraising to support the work being done at ALS TDI.

Please consider donating to support the incredible research at ALS TDI that will help people live longer and better lives without the suffering caused by ALS. From me, my family, and anyone who will be, or has been diagnosed with ALS, thank you for your generosity. ππ€
