In a few weeks I will be riding for my sixteenth year with the TriState Trek. Things have changed once again with the TST. Instead of riding from Boston to NY, we will be doing loops in Durham, NH. We will still get in three different states, but it’ll be Mass, Maine and NH this time!

In 2014 we lost a good friend, Dean Allison, to ALS. I will once again be riding his bicycle on the Trek, and I’ll carry his memory with me this year and every year until we can stop this disease!

ALS has also touched my family directly. A close family member was diagnosed with ALS last year and is fighting as hard as she can. After 16 years, I have heard many new diagnoses, but to have it hit my family makes it even MORE personal than it already was.

ALS/TDI has made great strides in finding drugs and treatments to fight this terrible disease. ALS/TDI was the first nonprofit biotech in any disease to develop a potential treatment, AT-1501, and bring it from their own labs, through FDA review and into clinical trial. 

Please donate what you can to help ALS/TDI raise funds to continue with their current trials to hopefully help the people living with ALS now and eventually eradicate this disease so we never have to hear of another ALS diagnosis.
