Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease. It’s a rapidly progressive, and ultimately fatal disease, that robs you of the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink, and eventually breathe, while leaving your fully-functioning mind trapped. There is no known cure and the disease is extremely underfunded.
Seeing my fearless and courageous father fight this disease with iron will and grace has always been my inspiration as I take on the Tri-State Trek for the 5th time, even under much different circumstances.
COVID-19's impact on non-profit organizations like ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) who depend heavilhy on donations has been huge. However, the reserachers at ALS TDI are continuing their fight to find a trreatment for ALS. Now they need our support more than ever. In this ciritcal time Team Ernie is dedicated to helping those who help others and to help find a cure.
...
In four years Team Ernie has raised over $120,000 through the help of many people who like us want to help end this disease which take the lives of many good people like Ernie. This year Team Ernie is riding again, individually and virutally, in support of ALS TDI. Your donations, however large or small, will help continue the critical research at ALS TDI. So please donate whatever you can.
I’m honored to be on Team Ernie. This tribe is very special to me and we all can’t wait to ride, in any capacity, to honor of everyone who has been gravely impacted by this terrible disease.
No donation is to small- every single cent is greatly appreciated ❤️
THANK YOU!!!!
Go Team Ernie!!!!
