Riding for those who no longer can
Last summer my Dad was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease), a neurodegenerative disorder that paralyzes the body but leaves the mind intact.  As we navigated the new normal that is ever changing, it is becoming more and more apparent how important the work the ALS therapy development Institue (TDI) is doing is. ALS TDI does more testing and research than any other ALS research lab in the world. They work tirelessly to strive to their goal that every person diagnosed with ALS has effective treatment to prevent, slow, stop or maybe one day reverse ALS. In June we return to UNH dorms (almost 20 years after I first slept in them -yicks-) for a 2-day ride to support the ASL Therapy Development Institute (ASL TDI).  Our family, and friends who have become family, appreciate any donation that you are able and willing to give. We are doing this ride for our family and know that all donations can help other families out there.
