Once again, my husband Breen and I are back riding for a cure! Team Bannon-Crush ALS will ride the 200 mile Tri-State Trek across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts on June 27th and June 28th, 2026 to raise money and bring awareness to the cruel and devastating disease known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease" (ALS).
This year, in addition to riding for my husband's brother Chuck Bannon who died of ALS, I am so sad to report that we are also riding for our very dear friend Stephen, who was recently diagnosed with ALS. Steve is an accomplished author, professor (PhD in Psychology), Triathlon Iron Man, avid bicycle rider and racer, best doggie sitter to our Stella Bella, and a wonderful person! Steve will attend the Tri- State Trek with us, and may even ride in it. What an amazing soul!

I cannot give up fighting against ALS, something needs done. This is my 7th year and I will continue to pedal as often as I can every year to help raise money and awareness for ALS! With the money we raise, we hope and pray researchers will discover some type of cure or treatment. (there has been some recent progress treating Familial ALS!)
And lastly, we remember to be Grateful, for our family’s heath, for our health, and to live and enjoy every day of the life we have.
