This June 24th I am joining Crush ALS/Team Bannon once again for the Tri-State Trek, the ride this year is 200 miles, we will be riding through New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine, to raise money to fight a cruel disease called ALS and also known as "Lou Gehrigs Disease"!!  This is my 3rd Tri-State Trek.

I am riding with my husband and best friend, Breen Bannon who lost his brother Chuck Bannon after 3 years of fighting the disease, Chuck passed in 2009 at the age of 44 and our ride is a great way of honoring him and to raise money to FIGHT ALS. Our team, Crush ALS/Team Bannon’s dedication to ending this debilitating disease is awe inspiring….this is the 15th year for Crush ALS/Team Bannon, we have 20 riders and will breach over $2 million dollars raised this year for ALS TDI.

All donations go to ALS-TDI a Boston-based non-profit that is leading research into finding a treatment and cure for ALS (www.als.net). ALS-TDI, the Boston-based research lab, recently announced it has successfully completed Phase 2 research trials for a drug called Tegoprubart; formerly known as AT-1501, that has been shown to slow disease progression in some ALS patients.
