This summer I will be participating in my annual Tri-State Trek to raise awareness and funds in the fight against ALS.  I ride in honor of Elena Coccio, who courageously battled ALS for 11 months before passing away at just 27 years old.

Elena was full of life, compassion, and determination.  Even as ALS robbed so much from her physically, it never touched her spirit.  She continues to inspire me every day, and this ride is one way I carry her legacy forward, with purpose, love, and hope for a cure.
