ALS sucks but it's been sucking in my family longer than most. You see, we have the SOD1 gene so that makes us one of the 'lucky' families that has familial ALS. In my lifetime, I lost both my mom and grandmother in 1982, my brother (at 31) in 2011 and my uncle in 2017.  I was diagnosed in October of 2024; I have access to medication that would not have been available even 2 years ago BECAUSE of the research that continues to happen. ALS TDI continues to be an important part of that research. 

While I’ve had to hang up my riding shoes, as a team we’re still riding and raising money to support ALS TDI because we need a cure. ALS sucks. Please help us make it suck less.
