This will be my first Tri-State Trek, I decided to participate this year because this is the year ALS became real for me.   I will never forget where I was when I found out Rachel had been diagnosed.  Over the years I knew Rachel worked hard  to raise money and participated in research but I have to admit it didn't really hit me until she was diagnosed early October.  The Jones family was one of the first families we met after moving here from GA over 10 years ago.   This year I will ride 100 miles in one day in honor of my friend and her family.  Working to End ALS by supporting ALS research at ALS TDI.
