Hi everyone, it's that time again!  This year will be my third Tri-State Trek!  However, this one is going to feel very different!  In early October, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with ALS. Although, we knew this was a possibility due to her family history, it was absolutely gut wrenching when it became a reality! My goal is to surpass the Treks requirement of raising $2500! The money is so crucial to funding research to develop new clinical and drug trials.  My friend started on a clinical trial 2 years ago.  And because of this trial, she was able to get diagnosed even before she felt symptoms and was immediately able to start on a drug regime!  We need more research to continue to advance these clinical trials and develop new drugs!!  Please consider donating what ever you can!  Literally every penny counts!!!
