Trek 2020, what a year, just not the same, very different. This year I will be riding on my own, no family, no team, no support, no cow bells ringing, none of the great people I see once a year, and no John Street. I will greatly miss what has become one of the greatest weekends of my year.
This year I will ride my 12th Tri State Trek from my own driveway in Ohio. I will ride to honor my brother Chuck who passed away from the devestating decease in 2009, I will ride for people who are fighting ALS today, and I will ride for the scientists who are working for a cure. My ride will be 105 miles the first day, reaching the Ohio River and hopefully the state of West Virginia, then Day 2 heading north up tp Lake Erie, a nice flat ride of 120 miles, and finally on day 3 I will pedal to the State of Pennsylvania, making my ride a true Tri State Trek!
Yes, this year is different, but our mission is the same, END ALS! If you are able, please help out by donating to the cause. The folks at ALS TDI need your help now more than ever.
Thank you all for your support the past 12 years. I truly believe we are making a difference in the battle to end this cruel disease!
Until then, check us out on Facebook for updates on the ride.
Never Give Up!
