Tri-State Trek Team Fundraising
Antiques Roadshow for ALS
Riding for those who no longer can

Hi and thanks for visiting our team page! We are a group of low-key, fun-loving, snack-loving "Antique" bike riders! Some of us are older, some of us are younger, but the bottom line is we ride to raise funds to support ALS research at ALS TDI. All of us have been impacted personally by ALS. We have decided the best way to honor our people who we have lost is to be a part of the Trek family and help end ALS. We'd love for you to come join our team! All ages welcome!

The qualifications to join are:                                                                                          - Love having fun,
Love snacks (they have fabulous ones at the rest stops!),
Oh yeah! Know how to ride a bike, (regular or electric)

...

If you can't join us, we'd appreciate a donation in honor of our loved ones. Scroll down just a bit, and you’ll find links to each of the Antiques’ pages where you can donate.

But, either way, if you ride with us, or make a donation, or even just share this page, we will feel your love...and be grateful as we all work together to end ALS.

Thank you!

I ride for those who can't. I ride for awareness, advocacy and a cure. I ride for all affected by ALS
My husband Juan, has been living with ALS for 10 years.  He's an advocate, author, comedian, a retired AF medic, but most of all a father and husband.  We've been together since we were 16 yrs old and have lived overseas and travelled most of Europe.  After I retired, he asked if he could check off his bucket list and see all 50 states, we bought our RV "Big Blue" and have seen 49 of 50 states (Hawaii being our last one).  Through our travels, we made it a point to post our itinerary so we could meet other ALS patients and connect.  We've not only met amazing people through our travels, but have found a community in the ALS world. I ride to recognize the need to raise funds and awareness and to one day find a cure.

Here comes the Antiques Roadshow for ALS!
The “Antiques” are back! And I’ll be riding with this great group for the second year. I do this in memory of my sister Nell—she's riding the horse in this picture—who lived with ALS for eight years before leaving us in 2017. She would love the Trek with all the comraderie (and I know she'd love ringing a cowbell or two). Nell and all the others we ride for, will be there in spirit to power our team the Antiques Roadshow for ALS as we roll along. All of us on the team—advocate buddies in the ALS community—have been affected by this hideous disease and want it to END!! We’re doing our part. Will you do yours? A simple donation will go a long way toward a cure. Thank you!

Riding to find a treatment or 20, for Pat, and the many friends we have lost because of ALS
The weekend of June 27-28th, my friends and I will be riding in the ALS TDI Tri State Trek bike ride. As you might have figured out from our name "Antiques Roadshow for ALS," we will be riding the 30 miles a day route, not the 100 mile a day route! We will riding for...Pat, Tim, Nell, Jim, Dave, Brent and Fred...and so many, too many, of our friends who are living with ALS or who have passed from ALS. The Antiques Roadshow for ALS will be stopping at every rest stop along the way, enjoying the snacks, catching our breath, and chatting with our fellow riders....all the while remembering why we are there, and raising money for ALS TDI to find a treatment or 20.While we won’t be able to share the snack with you, we hope you can help us with a donation…ALS is not incurable, it’s just underfunded. Every dollar will help, and every dollar will go directly to the ALS TDI lab to help find a treatment and a cure. While it seem hard to believe, it’s been 13 years since Pat passed away from his ALS. It's still stunning and we still miss him everyday. Our Gore/Dwyer family would like to thank allllll our family and friends who have supported us in the past. Again, if you can help us #endals with a donation, or sharing this webpage, thanks so much. But either way, our family thanks you for all your support over the years. xoJennyPS There is always room for more riders on our team! If you feel like you want to try riding one or two days, join us on Team Antiques Roadshow for ALS. We are the easy riding team!

I ride for Dave, the love of my life, my best friend and fellow adventurer. ALS wreaks havoc on the lives of everyone touched by this horrible beast. We must end this disease and I pledge to stay in this fight until we do. I'm so lucky to have found a community that understands and supports me. We all have lost a loved one and will continue to band together in support and advocacy. The Antique Roadshow for ALS: We may not be the fastest or the best, but our dedication is unquestionable and we have a great time together.

Riding for Tim, Pat, Jim, Sandy, Becky, Shelly, Dan, Andrea, Juan, Hop, Lorri, Uncle Gene, Billy, Brian A, Dora, & many more!
Trying to do my part to #EndALS by supporting critical ALS research at ALS TDI. I'm hoping to ride 100 miles on day 1 but know I'll make it to mile 44 which is dedicated to my Tim. Please donate if you can!!  With much love, hugs & hope, Deb
