Volunteer on the Trek

Donate Your Time

The Trek is one of the most challenging and rewarding events that I've been involved with. The spirit is unmatched.

Rinaldo Dorman

3-Day Crew, Weekend Support and Day Volunteers are the backbone of the Tri-State Trek. From the set-up of daily rest stops and nightly lodging to securing the arrival of gear and supplies - the efforts of our volunteers help to ensure our event runs smoothly.

3-Day Crew

3-Day Crew are volunteers that travel as part of the Tri-State Trek and work in critical roles throughout the three-day event. Running rest stops, setting up and breaking down overnight locations, or driving route support vehicles, crew assist in a variety of ways and make for a smooth weekend.

Weekend Support

Formerly known as "Here to Cheer", Weekend Support volunteers travel with the trek all three-days and assist 3-Day Crew and help provide moral support for our riders by cheering them on. Weekend Support volunteers must fundraise to cover the cost of their participation, they may designate a preferred role during registration. Food, lodging, t-shirts and beverages are all covered by their fundraising minimum.

Day Volunteers

Day Volunteers assist Tri-State Trek Staff & 3-Day Crew, and are needed at our larger venues like the Start Line, Overnights and Finish Line. Day Volunteers can participate for a few hours, or an entire day depending on their availability. They help with things like setup, cleanup, moving gear, preparing meals, rider check-in, etc. Food, a t-shirt and beverages are covered, but lodging is not.
