Fighting for those who no longer can.
ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis aka Lou Gehrig’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that leads to paralysis, due to the death of motor neurons in the spinal cord and brain. There is no known cause or cure.
At 12 years old, I volunteered for my 1st Tri State Trek, a 3-day, 270-mile bicycle ride focused on ending ALS.
I rang cowbells for my dad, a rider, and for his dad who we lost a few years prior
This year, at 25, I will be returning for my 13th Trek, and we will be doing things a little differently!
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be holding our own individual "My State Trek"s nationwide where riders and crew members will be able to support our cause from the saftey of their own states.
I will be helping to represent the state of California in honor of my Papa, my dad, and the countless number of PALS and their loved ones I have been so lucky to get to know.
The Tri State Trek is so much more than just a charity event. It is a family. A family of incredible individuals all brought together by this horrible disease. Inspiring individuals who, year after year, stand up and fight for those who no longer can. I am humbled to be among them.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page and for considering making a donation. Every little bit helps.
