Riding for a Cure

June 23, 24 & 25, 2017

The Trek is tremendous. The people – riders, crew, volunteers, those cheering us on and most importantly our loved ones with ALS are all so amazing. We ride 275 miles and it goes by in the blink of an eye. At the end of three days we may have tired bodies but we are renewed, and we are inspired. We ride together with one heart towards a cure!

We ride in support of the ALS Therapy Development Institute and our mission to find an effective therapy for ALS.

The Trek is a fully supported event. Riders cycle a marked course at their own pace, with rest stops every 15-20 miles. We transport all gear and provide all meals, snacks, water and sports drinks. We start in Newton, MA, overnight in college dormitories, and finish with a victory-ride down Greenwich Avenue and a Finish Line picnic on the banks of the Long Island Sound.

Year after year, riders return and new faces join the fight. We hope your 2017 summer plans include the Tri-State Trek and we look forward to seeing you in June!
