On June 27 and 28, Miriam and I will be riding to support treatments for ALS. I plan on riding 100 miles on the first day and 30 miles on the second. Our team, "Lady Man" describes our team and also honours Neil Ladyman, a friend of mine from high school was diagnosed with ALS and passed away in 2013. This is a terrible disease, with most patients not surviving more than two to four years after diagnosis. Neil's diagnosis helped us to understand the impact of this disease on patients and their loved ones. Since then we have been inspired by many others who have been diagnosed with ALS. ALSTDI is a non-profit organization that researches treatments for patients with ALS, also called Motor Neuron Disease or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Thanks for your support!
