Riding for those who no longer can
2017 Tri-State Trek - Team What About Bobby!!!
This June, I will be riding 100 miles, part of a 3-day, 275 mile bike ride in order to raise funds to find an effective treatment for ALS!
I was first introduced to ALS TDI in January 2015, just 2 weeks after my brother, Bobby Forster, was diagnosed with ALS at just 25 years old. Meeting the people at ALS TDI, and seeing how hard they were working to find a treatment gave me much needed hope. That June, I rode part of the ride, alongside my brother, several of his amazing friends, and hundreds of others who have been affected by ALS. The love and support that was felt on that weekend was just incredible and I knew I'd be coming back for years to come!
This year I will be riding 92 miles on day 2, from UConn to University of New Haven and then the last 9 miles on day 3 into Greenwich, CT. I will also be support crew again on days 1&3!
My fundraising efforts this year will not only support TDI but also my amazing brother, Bobby!!!
As always, thank you for your continued love and support! We wouldn''t be able to do it without you!! xoxox
