What is the Greenwich Sgt. Roger Petrone 9-Mile Ride?
The Greenwich Sgt. Roger Petrone 9-Mile Ride starts at the Greenwich Audubon Society
(613 Riversville Road, Greenwich, CT 06830) and finishing at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Sunday, June 25
(The Tri-State Trek's final day). We offer it to participants who want to support ALS TDI but don't have the time
or inclination to ride 100-270 miles. The route, featuring some challenging climbs and fast down hills, is best
suited for intermediary level riders at minimum. The ride will be fully supported with road crews and bike mechanics. The Audubon
Society sits adjacent to Sunday's Rest Stop 4, located at the top of John St., providing hydration and snacks to Day 3 Tri-State Trek
riders arriving from New Haven. ALL Tri-State Trek riders - Sgt. Petrone Ride & Day 3 - will ride together from John St. to the finish
line at 2:00pm. Sgt. Petrone Riders should arrive by 1:00pm and can park cars at the Audubon Society. Transportation is not provided

Do I have to stay in a dorm on Thursday night before the ride?
No. We start from Boston College and can offer dorm lodging for $60/person based on double occupancy. For other

IMPORTANT: Transportation from an outside hotel to the Boston College starting line WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
Free Kick-Off Dinner Thursday Night!
Trek Participants who are available to join us at Boston College on Thursday, June 22 are invited
to a FREE welcome dinner. See old Trek friends, meet new ones and get fueled for the weekend's ride. Dinner will be at 6:00pm, a
short walk from the dorms, on the Boston College campus. An open bar with beer and wine will be available.
Where can I ship my bike?

You MUST buy a return shipping label and include it in the package to get your bike returned to you.

Can I rent a bike for the ride?
YES! You can rent from Urban Adventours by visiting their website.
Participants must make their own rental and delivery arrangements.
Is there transportation to the Start Line before the ride?
Yes, we have a shuttle from Greenwich, CT, to Newton, MA, on Thursday. The shuttle leaves at 12:00pm from the Horseneck Lot on
Arch St. (Long Term Parking Lot). Please plan to arrive to the bus by 11:45am. Your bike and gear will be transported on the bus.
Thursday night accommodations are available in Boston College dorms. You must select the lodging option during registration.
How do I get back home after the ride?
We provide transportation only on Friday evening and Sunday evening back to our Long Term Parking in Newton. The shuttles will leave
at 5:00pm; we will wait for all riders who have signed up for the shuttle! You must select this option when registering for the Trek.

Can I change my registration?
You may change your registration up to one month before the ride by logging into your TST account. Registration fees are non-refundable and
non-transferable. (Please Note: If you are a rider and you change your status after May 24th
you are still committed to raise your original fundraising minimum.)

How do I send in cash or checks that I have received by fundraising?
When sending in donations you must fill out a donation form attached here:
Donation Form. Donations received without a donation form will take longer to process,
and might not be processed correctly. Please use this form! If you have cash donations, please write out a personal check for the
cash amount and keep the actual cash. Please fill out a donation form and indicate on the form to whom the donation should be
credited to/from. Checks should be mailed to ALS TDI, 300 Technology Square, Suite 400, Cambridge, MA 02139.
