Volunteer: Weekend Crew

Our All Volunteer Weekend Crew

Accompanying Trek riders all 270 miles are our trusted Crew. All food and lodging is provided, and transportation throughout the event is covered. Crew planning to bring their personal vehicle on the event should select this option at time of registration.

This year we've removed the $35 Crew Registration fee, and are asking that Crew try to fundraise a minimum of $35. All Crew receive online fundraising pages linked to their team fundraising page (if applicable).

Positions are filled by request, on a first-come-first served basis.

Crew Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organizing the setup and breakdown of our overnights
  • Setup and cleanup of venues
  • Fully preparing and managing Lunch Stops and Rest Stops
  • Helping and assisting riders
  • Route support and route maintenance
  • Assuring the arrival and proper placement of rider gear and luggage
  • Working with medical personnel
  • Working with bike techs
  • General support

Available Roles for three-day crew include:

  • Rest stop and Lunch Stop Coordinators and Support
  • Medical Staff
  • Support Vehicle Drivers
  • Gear Vehicle Drivers
  • Bicycle Mechanics
  • Overnight Team Captains & Overnight Support
